Export packing for electrical steel and cores: pallets, crates and moisture protection
Electrical steel can be damaged by moisture, edge impact and shifting loads. This is how we pack coils, laminations and cores for long transport routes.
A shipment from Guangzhou to Europe, the Middle East or South America may spend weeks in a container and pass through several climates and handling points. Condensation inside a container can leave rust spots on bare edges, and a load that shifts can dent coil edges or bend laminations. Packing is therefore part of product quality, not an afterthought.

Slit coils
- Coils are wrapped in anti-rust paper or film with desiccant where the route requires it.
- Edge protectors and inner/outer rings protect the edges and the eye.
- Coils are banded to pallets eye-vertical or eye-horizontal according to the customer’s unloading method.
Laminations and small cores
Stamped laminations and small stator cores are packed in cartons or plastic boxes inside a moisture-barrier bag, then stacked on pallets. Carton labels show part number, quantity and lot so that the receiving warehouse can check the goods without opening every box.

Transformer cores
Large cores are wrapped, fixed to a base and packed in wooden crates made of treated timber suitable for export. Lifting points and centre of gravity are marked on the crate.

What to tell us when you ask for a quote
- Destination port or address and Incoterm.

- Unloading equipment: forklift, crane, C-hook.
- Labelling or marking requirements.
With this information we choose the packing method before production, so that the quotation already includes the right protection.
